By adjusting the ratio of ethylene oxide (EO) to propylene oxide (PO) in the polyether molecule by structural design, a hydrophilic polyether polyol having different solubility in water can be obtained. At present, the functionality of the hydrophilic polyether is mainly 2-6, and the EO/PO ratio and molecular weight can be customized according to the needs of the customer. According to the water-soluble characteristics of hydrophilic polyether, it is widely used in water-based polyurethane adhesives, water-based polyurethane finishing agents, water-swellable rubber for construction, etc. Its aqueous solution can also be used as a good quenching liquid and metal cutting fluid.
